You can start a Te Awa Fund!
Thought about starting a fundraiser or having a fund you and others could donate to?
With your Te Awa your local community foundation, you can do it!
Te Awa will assist you, when you are ready with an initial donation, to grow that fund for you and take care of the administrative side of the fund. Over time this fund will grow in interest and the income on the original donation will be given back to a cause you care about long into the future.
You can specify the charitable objectives of the fund or get Te Awa to help you with this.
Once a fund is established other people can also donate to the fund.
If you have a workplace that cares about community causes perhaps you could start a workplace-giving option. Alternatively, have a look at the other funds held by Te Awa Community Foundation and give to one of those.
What is a cause, a place or a group of people you care about?
Te Awa will promote the fund and you will have the confidence of knowing that you will be contributing to your community now and into the future.
